The Links Academy Mission Statement
The Academy is an integral part of the Muskoka Highlands Golf Club operation and offers instructional programs to golfers of all abilities. The Links Academy offers private lessons, golf camps, group clinics, rules seminars and club fitting. In addition, our step-by-step junior golf development program will introduce youngsters to the game with the aim of promoting skill, sportsmanship and enthusiasm for golf.

We have developed the following principles that will guide our teaching:
- Learning becomes easy when you enjoy yourself
- "Telling is not teaching, listening is not learning"
- Every skill is learned through informed coaching and diligent practice
- Each individual has a particular learning style; a variety of strategies will be used to meet your needs
- Mistakes are an inherent part of the learning process
- Without mistakes - there is no reason to try to improve!
- Golf is the great game.
Supervised Practice
As golf professionals it is our job to make sure you have the knowledge and understanding of a particular technique when you leave a lesson. It is the player's responsibility to practice and solidify that technique as a learned skill. Without practice it's probable that there will not be any improvement. Supervised practice sessions are set up for students of the Muskoka Highlands Academy so you can practice under the supervision of a golf professional. This is to ensure you are on the right track and are practicing the proper skills.

Schedule
Group Sessions - Every Friday: May 15 - September 18 at 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Cost: $20 per session.
Individual Sessions (can be booked at the availability of the Instructor).
Cost: $40 per session.
*Supervised Practice sessions are included free of charge in the "Guaranteed Better Game" program.
