Putting is the most important part of scoring. Putting is the most personal part of golf. There are some key points to all great putters. Good putters all hold the club with a soft grip. Apply minimal pressure on the grip. Most great putters have their eyes directly over the ball. The putting stroke is one that will allow the putter to gain momentum all the way through the stroke. To ensure your eyes are over the ball set up in your putting stance, place the ball over your eye then let it drop if the ball lands in front of your putter you are set to go. To help with your stroke building momentum practice just pushing the ball into the hole from a few feet away. Move the putter back and duplicate this feeling. Spend more time at the putting green when practicing and watch your scores lower.
