“Families on golf vacations try to diversify what they do, unlike four guys who come up for a week to play as many courses as possible,” says Don MacKay, owner of the 18-hole Muskoka Highlands. “We get a lot of families playing here, so we use four sets of tees with one way out on the fairway to cut down on the first drive. There are two big fears in golf – the front door of the clubhouse and standing at the first tee.
